OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK · Minutes Volume 2024 Regular meeting of June 25, 2024 (excerpt) Call to order. Mayor Elena Ruiz called the meeting to order at 6:31 p.m. All members were present. Staff present: City Manager Andre Whitfield, City Attorney Mei Chen, City Clerk Priya Shah, Finance Director Hannah Cole. Public comment. Four speakers addressed the Council: two in support of increased library hours, one regarding traffic speeds on Cedar Lane, and one regarding the Riverbend Park playground schedule. Item 7, Adoption of the FY2025 operating and capital budgets. Finance Director Hannah Cole presented a balanced General Fund budget of $64,500,000, a 4.0 percent increase over FY2024, and a six-project capital program. Following discussion of the Elm Street sidewalk program, it was moved by Councilmember Delgado, seconded by Vice Mayor Webb, to adopt Resolution 2024-38. Motion carried 5-0. Item 8, Fee schedule cleanup. Received and filed; no action. Adjournment. The meeting adjourned at 8:47 p.m. to the regular meeting of July 9, 2024.
